Zac Efron reportedly breaks jaw, has mouth wired shut

Zac Efron won’t be flashing his pearly whites to anyone for a while. The actor has reportedly broken his jaw in what appears to be a classic slapstick accident.

Efron, 26, had to have his mouth wired shut after he slipped in a puddle of water Sunday at the entrance of his L.A.-area home and broke his jaw, E! News reported.

The “Parkland” star also got a pretty big gash that had to be stitched, the site said.

The “High School Musical” alum was set to promote his upcoming comedy, “That Awkward Moment,” which is set for January release, but those plans have been pushed back, according to E! and People.

The teen heartthrob is expected to make a full recovery.

“I spoke to him,” Efron’s “Awkward Moment” costar Michael B. Jordan, 26, told Us Weekly at an event Tuesday. “I texted him. He’s good. He’s as good as can be. He’ll be OK!”
