MUSIC
Zola Jesus The dark-wave synth-wrangler and powerhouse vocalist Nika Danilova just released “Conatus,” the biggest statement yet in an already-long career for the young singer-producer. Tracks such as “Vessel” are saturated in tangled electronics and stuttering drum samples, but her opera-sized vocals make it all feel epic. Echoplex, 1154 Glendale Blvd., L.A. 9 p.m. $15. attheecho.com.
