Prince Harry’s security in trouble (but Ryan Lochte had a blast)

Prince Harry may be off the hook for his Las Vegas nude photo romp, but a head or two is going to roll in the palace. Figuratively, of course.

While the third-in-line for the throne has always been the more free-spirited child of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, his security detail is reportedly catching heat for the pictures of Harry in the buff.

His “minders were asleep at the wheel, enjoying the party more than protecting the Prince from himself,” reports TMZ, citing a source that adds the royal family is “furious” over the scandal.

Several Sin City VIP coordinators were quizzed about why such an avoidable situation wasn’t, well, avoided, and the answer was a lacking sense of professionalism.

“Harry’s team acted like a bunch of amateurs,” one expert said.

A pro who behaved appropriately? Olympian Ryan Lochte. Stopping by the “Today” show, the swimmer recounted his Wynn hotel pool race with Harry and admitted he was “kinda happy” he didn’t follow the prince upstairs afterward for photo time.

“We were at the same pool party, and his people came over to my table and said Prince Harry wants to meet you,” Lochte told Matt Lauer, adding that the redhead was “really talkative.”

If Harry is indeed back at home, we’d guess the dinner table is pretty silent this week.
