Harry’s Law: Harry, Cassie and Adam (Kathy Bates, Karen Olivo, Nate Corddry) represent a critically ill 21-year-old charged with illegally buying a kidney in this new episode (9 p.m. NBC).

Nova: This new episode documents the World War II effort by allied intelligence to recruit brilliant minds from British universities and Hollywood studios to study photos shot over German territory, that revealed hidden bases which were then targeted in bombing raids (9 p.m. KOCE).

Top Chef: Texas: In this new episode, the must come up with an evil-themed dish to be served to the “queen” at a gothic feast. Charlize Theron is the guest judge (10 p.m. Bravo).

Royal Pains: In the summer cliffhanger, Hank (Mark Feuerstein) treated Eric (Wilmer Valderrama), who appeared to have been given the wrong medicine by Dr. Van Dyke and Divya (Kyle Howard, Reshma Shetty). As the season resumes Eric’s life hangs in the balance (10 p.m. USA).

State Fair Foods: This new special takes viewers on a tour of state fairs around the country. In Minnesota, it’s food — any food — on a stick, while in Arizona, a super-spicy pizza, and Texas has the craziest fried concoctions, such as deep-fried bubble gum (8 p.m. Travel).
