Is Jessica Simpson pregnant again? Report says yes

Is Jessica Simpson pregnant with baby No. 2? That’s what one magazine was reporting Wednesday.

“It definitely wasn’t planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again,” a source told Us Weekly. The 32-year-old “Fashion Star” star has reportedly told only a handful of loved ones.

Maxwell, Simpson’s daughter with fiancé Eric Johnson, was born May 1, just about seven months ago, weighing in at 9 pounds, 13 ounces. “This has been the greatest experience of our lives!!,” the couple said at the time. Perhaps great enough to repeat again quickly? One thing’s for sure: Another pregnancy would put a new twist in the couple’s wedding planning, which was already delayed by Maxwell’s arrival.

Simpson of course has been celebrating her 70-pound post-baby weight loss recently — weight reportedly dropped gradually through a combination of Weight Watchers and four-day-a-week sessions with a personal trainer.

A no-comment response to the mag from Simpson’s camp was no surprise. Even if there is a new baby on the way, Jessica was notoriously cagey last time about confirming she was expecting, holding off on an official announcement until well after photos taken around town made it obvious she had a baby on board.

The Us Weekly with Simpson on the cover hits newsstands Friday.
