Justin Bieber, crime victim: ‘people should respect ... property’

Justin Bieber can’t get no respect. For two days in a row now, he’s been a victim.

On Tuesday, the Biebs had some of his electronics swiped while he was performing at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Wash.

“yesterday during the show me and my tour manager josh had some stuff stolen,” he tweeted Wednesday. “really sucks. people should respect other’s property.”

No big deal, right? He’s rich enough to replace pretty much anything? But it’s not that simple. Just like the rest of us, even Bieber can’t buy back memories.

“i had a lot of personal footage on that computer and camera and that is what bothers me the most. #lame #norespect,” he wrote.

Bieber also on Wednesday was the latest celeb to be targeted for “swatting,” a malicious prank in which 911 is called alleging a serious crime is occurring at a certain location, with the goal of getting heavily armed authorities to show up en masse.

This time sheriff’s deputies quickly determined it was a false call-out, according to L.A. Now, with people who were on site saying they never called via Text Telephone, or TTY, to report a person with a weapon at the singer’s Calabasas mansion.

Bieber joins Miley Cyrus and Ashton Kutcher in Southern California’s celebrity swatting ranks.
