Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert haven’t split, despite rumors

Blake Shelton: Rumor demystifier. Miranda Lambert: Sidekick. The case: Have they called it quits? The answer: Nope, y’all.

The country couple took to Twitter over the weekend to ridicule a Life & Style cover story alleging that the two were headed to splitsville due to Shelton flirting with 26-year-old singer Cady Groves. And something pretty adorable ensued when the two tore down the fourth wall with a sense of humor.

“Hey @mirandalambert… I just read in a tabloid that our marriage is falling apart! FOCK!,” “The Voice” coach wrote on Sunday.

“Oh no! Can’t wait to read if we make it or not,” his wife, 29, quipped back.

“Ba! Ha! Ha! You see y’all!!! I’m making her funnier!!!” Shelton, 36, responded.

Last November, the duo pulled a similar stunt when another Life & Style report surfaced, claiming that Lambert was pregnant.

“Wow! I just read the headline! ‘We are having a baby’ yay! Blake Shelton, we’re getting a new puppy?” Lambert tweeted to deflate the rumor.

The couple is still very much together and topping Billboards’s Hot Country Songs chart with Shelton’s “Sure Be Cool If You Did” at No. 1 and Lambert at No. 2 with “Mama’s Broken Heart.”

Perhaps her song is where the mag got its fodder?
