Fans react to Adele ticket sale difficulties on Twitter

Rumor has it that purchasing a coveted ticket for Adele’s 2016 tour was quite the challenge Thursday morning.
When ticket sales opened at 10 a.m., fans of the British singer first faced difficulties with Ticketmaster’s security checkpoint before then waiting hours for their chance to score tickets -- only to discover that the tour was, in fact, sold out, including all six nights scheduled at Staples Center in August.

Many of the disgruntled fans took to Twitter using #adeletickets -- which was trending all day -- to voice complaints and share their disappointment.
