Linkin Park, The Killers top 2012 KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas
Linkin Park, The Killers, Jack White, Rise Against, Bush and Garbage top the list of acts playing the 2012 KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas taking place Dec. 8 and 9 at Gibson Amphitheatre.
Also on the bill for the 23rd edition of the show are Fun, M83, Slightly Stoopid, AWOL Nation, the Lumineers, Neon Trees, Passion Pit, The Gaslight Anthem, Walk the Moon, Grouplove, Alex Clare, Two Door Cinema Club, Of Monsters and Men, Youngblood Hawke and Imagine Dragons.
Tickets go on sale Friday, initially only to members of the KROQ street team with a password available from KROQ.com, where full details of each night’s lineup and other information also are available. General sales are yet to be announced.
Beneficiaries of this year’s event are Para Los Niños, a non-profit family service agency assisting at-risk children from low-income families and the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center in South L.A., which provides tutoring and other services to schoolchildren.
