Watch Nine Inch Nails perform new song ‘Find My Way’
Nine Inch Nails performed a new song Friday from its upcoming reunion album.
Headlining the first night of Japan’s Fuji Rock festival, the veteran industrial rock outfit played “Find My Way,” a hushed, slow-moving cut slated to appear on “Hesitation Marks,” Nine Inch Nails’ first studio disc since “The Slip” in 2008.
“I have made a great mistake,” frontman Trent Reznor sings in the song, “Pray the lord my soul to take.”
TIMELINE: Summer’s must see concerts
“Find My Way” is the second track we’ve heard from “Hesitation Marks,” following the album’s comparatively aggressive lead single, “Came Back Haunted,” for which David Lynch directed a typically creepy music video.
Produced by Reznor, Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder (and with guest appearances by Lindsey Buckingham and Adrian Belew, among others), the album is due out Sept. 3. On Sept. 28, Nine Inch Nails is scheduled to launch a North American arena tour that will stop at L.A.’s Staples Center on Nov. 8.
