Watch Sky Ferreira's video for 'You're Not the One'

Bummed to hear that Sky Ferreira has moved her show at the El Rey from this weekend to late October? Console yourself with the music video for her song “You’re Not the One,” which the singer posted on YouTube Tuesday.

A characteristically moody slice of electro-pop produced by L.A.’s Ariel Rechtshaid, the tune serves as the lead single from Ferreira’s long-gestating major-label debut, “Night Time, My Time,” due Oct. 29.

Then again, perhaps this clip isn’t the one to turn to for comfort, given that it depicts a rather grim episode in a dimly lighted nightclub in which Ferreira pokes a guy in the neck with an ice pick.

Speaking of grim episodes, Ferreira was arrested earlier this month in Saugerties, N.Y., on a number of drug- and vehicle-related charges; she and a companion, Zachary Cole Smith of the band DIIV, were later released on bail, according to a local newspaper.

Ferreira is out on the road as Vampire Weekend’s opening act, though she won’t appear at that group’s concert Saturday at the Hollywood Bowl, perhaps to avoid cutting into ticket sales for her El Rey gig, now scheduled for Oct. 27.
