Randy Lewis
Randy Lewis has covered pop music for the Los Angeles Times since 1981, working in that time as a reporter, music critic and editor for the Calendar section. Before that he covered the record business as a staff writer for Cash Box Magazine, a music industry trade publication. He may be the world’s only rock critic who can also field strip and reassemble a piano accordion, and definitely the only one willing to admit it.
