Raven-Symoné isn’t wild about the weight-loss attention

When former Disney network star Raven-Symoné showed up at the People’s Choice Awards with a slimmed-down physique, commentators fought to heap praise on her look. That’s the sort of thing any starlet would like to hear, right?

But don’t expect Symoné to do a pictorial showing-off her bikini bod. Instead, she’d rather everyone stop ogling her.

“Actually, now I wear bigger clothes because I don’t like the way people stare at me,” she told People magazine. “I liked it before. Now, you’re just looking at me for the wrong reasons. Before, you were actually looking at me for a real reason.”

Symoné isn’t touting a new diet or fitness regimen, either. She credits her weight loss to ditching the stress that came with her show, as well as finding hobbies and new ways to relax.

What’s more, Symoné doesn’t even think her transformation is that big a deal. “I thought I looked fabulous before and nobody else did,” she told People. “So, whatever.”
