Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, again makes Vanity Fair’s best-dressed
H.R.H. the Duchess of Cambridge was named to Vanity Fair’s 74th international best-dressed list, the magazine announced Wednesday, making it the former Kate Middleton’s fourth time on the annual roundup of the world’s most fashionable folks.
“Suit & Tie” singer Justin Timberlake made the list for the second time (he debuted in 2011), as is New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady -- though this is Brady’s first team effort since he’s in the couples category alongside wife Gisele Bündchen. And it’s a three-peat for fashion designer Tory Burch.
Perhaps what’s most notable about this year’s list is the first-timers club. Among the well-heeled making their debut appearance are Beyonce, Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, Brooke Shields, Ronan Farrow (the writer-lawyer-diplomat son of Mia Farrow), J. Crew creative director Jenna Lyons, China’s First Lady, Peng Liyuan, and burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese.*
But our hands-down favorite of the freshman class? That’d be the Rolling Stones’ most-often rumpled, wrinkled and do-ragged Keith Richards. (Favorite place to shop? “I don’t shop!” Favorite accessory? “My silver.”)
The 2013 International Best-Dressed List, which appears in the September issue (on newsstands Aug. 1), can also be found at the magazine’s website.

[*Updated 7/31/2013, 3:37 p.m.: An earlier version of this post omitted one of our other favorite first-timers on the list -- L.A.’s very own Dita Von Teese. We felt we had to set the record straight.]
