‘Walking Dead’ actress -- er, zombie -- arrested in Obama ricin case
Oh my gosh, what did Sarah Wayne Callies do? Wait, no. Maybe it was Laurie Holden?? -- That might have been the initial thought process when you looked at your Twitter feed or scrolled through the email alerts on your phone blasting that a “Walking Dead” actress was arrested in connection with the Obama/Bloomberg ricin threat.
Rest easy. The aforementioned ladies are in the clear.
At the center of the arrest is bit actress Shannon Richardson (who also went by Shannon Rogers and Shannon Guess).

Watch “The Walking Dead”? She played one of the many bloodthirsty zombies that have filtered in. Watch “The Vampire Diaries”? She played a student. Yes, we didn’t see this coming from her either.
NBC News first reported on the arrest, with a less-flashy emphasis on her “Walking Dead” connection -- that would get overblown by the trade/entertainment outlets as they played up the TV angle.
The 35-year-old actress was arrested in Texas on Friday and charged with mailing a threatening communication to President Obama, New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg and the director of Mayors Against Illegal Guns -- this, after what appears to be a botched attempt at trying to place blame on her husband (officials said she had pointed the FBI in his direction).
The New York Times notes that Richardson faces up to 10 years in prison.
