‘Arrested Development’ to feature John Krasinski of ‘The Office’
Add one “Office” star to the list of big names expected to make guest appearances in Netflix’s much-anticipated resurrection of “Arrested Development.”
John Krasinski, known to millions as bland, easy-going Jim from the nearly finished NBC hit “The Office,” is expected to show up alongside the wacky Bluth clan when the comedy series returns for 15 episodes on Netflix on May 26, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Krasinski isn’t the only big name popping up alongside the original “AD” cast. Other stars appearing in the new episodes include Ben Stiller, Seth Rogen, Conan O’Brien, Andy Richter, Kristen Wigg, John Slattery, Isla Fisher and returning faces Scott Baio, Carl Weathers, Ron Howard, Henry Winkler and Liza Minnelli.

While previous Netflix series have been written to be viewed serially, the “Arrested Development” episodes are experimental in that they can be viewed in any order.
“The Office” will wrap up nine seasons on the air with an hourlong finale on May 16. But luckily, Netflix plans to make every new episode of “Arrested Development” available at once, so fans won’t have to wait weeks and weeks for a bit more Krasinski.
