Netflix releases first peek at new ‘Arrested Development’
As we inch closer to May, the drumbeat of fan anticipation is growing ever louder for the much hailed return of “Arrested Development.” And on Thursday, fans got their first-ever peek at the new season with a clip featuring Buster (Tony Hale) and Lucille (Jessica Walter).
The clip, which was originally posted by Entertainment Weekly, got its first viewing at the Television Critics Assn. Winter Press Tour in January and another at an “Arrested Development” panel at SXSW in March.
But this is the first time fans anywhere (and everywhere) can see what their favorite Bluths have been up to since the show went off the air in 2006.

The show’s main cast, including Jason Bateman, Jeffrey Tambor, Portia di Rossi, Will Arnett and Michael Cera are all back. And several actors who had recurring roles, including Henry Winkler, will also make return appearances.
The new season of 15 episodes will premiere on Netflix on May 26. And in an unusual move, the episodes have been designed to be watched in any order.
The clip, which would earn a dim view from the surgeon general, is posted here. But don’t expect to see this in the episodes. This is just an outtake.
