CBS renews 11 veteran shows, including ‘NCIS’ spinoffs and ‘Madam Secretary’
More CBS favorites are returning for the 2016-2017 season, the network announced Friday.
The network’s bread-and-butter procedurals “Blue Bloods,” “Elementary,” “Hawaii Five-0,” “Madam Secretary,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “NCIS: New Orleans,” “Scorpion,” comedies “Mom” and “2 Broke Girls” and reality series “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race” have all been renewed for the new season.

CBS previously announced Season 10, and potentially the final season, of its Emmy-winning geeky comedy “The Big Bang Theory” and two more seasons of its enduring flagship procedural “NCIS,” taking the investigative series into Season 14 and 15 by inking a two-year deal with its star, Mark Harmon.
Not included in Friday’s renewals was the fate of the long-running “Criminal Minds,” which saw the departure of fan favorite Shemar Moore this week, and the network’s rookie series “Supergirl,” “CSI: Cyber” and family comedy “Life in Pieces.”
