Man who did stint as voice of Charlie Brown pleads guilty to stalking

Actor Peter Robbins, who provided the voice of Charlie Brown in eight “Peanuts” TV specials between 1965 and 1969, has pleaded guilty to threatening and stalking his ex-girlfriend and a plastic surgeon who gave her a breast enhancement.

Robbins, 56, entered his plea in a San Diego court Wednesday, according to the Associated Press. He could face up to three years in prison when he’s sentenced next month.

According to prosecutors, Robbins called his ex-girlfriend multiple times a day and threatened to kill her and her son if she didn’t give back his car and his dog, whose name is Snoopy.

He also is accused of making similar threats against the plastic surgeon, from whom he demanded a refund.

Robbins, who was a child actor but hasn’t appeared on TV or in a film since 1972, was arrested in January while attempting to cross the border into Mexico. He initially pleaded not guilty to the charges.

As an adult, Robbins had worked as a real estate agent and lived in Oceanside.
