Talking TV: ‘How I Met Your Mother’ finale recap

Ted Mosby has finally finished telling his children the story of how he met their mother, and it only took him nine years to do it.

The hit CBS show “How I Met Your Mother” wrapped up Monday night, closing the door on “the gang” and tying each of their futures up in a neat little bow. We won’t leave any spoilers here, but, in a weird way, they all ended up happy.

Fans of the show were all over social media last night both ranting and raving about the final episode. At one point, #HIMYMFinale was the No. 1 world-trending hashtag on Twitter.
