Jennifer Lopez and Jimmy Fallon re-create ‘Tight Pants’
What do you do when you’re a late-night talk show host and your guest has a backside so famous that tabloids once reported she had taken out an insurance policy on it? When Jennifer Lopez and her derriere stopped by “The Tonight Show” on Monday, he put her in some tight pants.
Back in 2012, Will Ferrell showed up on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” wearing a blindingly white pair of tight pants and singing a throwback ditty about how great he looked in those tight pants. Fallon joined him and they had one of the silliest skits Fallon ever aired. (Which is saying something).
Ferrell wasn’t around on Monday, but J.Lo wore her own pair of tight white pants and midriff top. And she looked a whole lot better than Ferrell, who mercifully spared us the midriff top.
Besides the song, which was the same, the sketch was virtually identical to the one in 2012. There are two people who love wearing their tight pants, but only one of them will stay to celebrate. What about the other one?
As Lopez said, “You better hide your wife, you better hide your kids, because I will cut you. I will cut your father, I will cut your mother, I will scratch you. Don’t make me take off my heels.”
Tight pants may be silly, but to those who wear them, they are deadly serious. Take heed, future tight pants wearers.
