Jimmy Fallon, the Roots and Muppets perform ‘Sesame Street’ theme
It was a sunny day Thursday on “Late Night,” where Jimmy Fallon and the Roots swept the clouds away.
The host and his house band lived the dream of every 4-year-old (and more than a few 40-year-olds) across the land by teaming up with an all-star line-up of Muppets to perform the “Sesame Street” theme song with classroom instruments.

Crammed into a dressing room at 30 Rockefeller Plaza were Elmo, Big Bird, Snuffleupagus, Grover, Cookie Monster, the Count, Zoe and Abby Caddaby along with Fallon and eight members of the Roots. (Let’s hope the A/C was on.)
Not to be outdone, Black Thought even put a new spin on the familiar tune with a rap at the one-minute mark.
