Cookie Monster is getting his own segment on “Sesame Street,” and he’s eager to talk about it.

The longtime star of “Sesame Street,” who has appeared on the PBS children’s program since its premiere in 1969, will be starring in a new recurring feature for the show’s 44th season, which begins today.

The feature “Cookie’s Crumby Pictures” will parody famous movies (all starring Cookie Monster, of course) and help the blue cookie aficionado teach children about self-regulation.
