Cookie Monster is getting his own segment on “Sesame Street,” and he’s eager to talk about it.
The longtime star of “Sesame Street,” who has appeared on the PBS children’s program since its premiere in 1969, will be starring in a new recurring feature for the show’s 44th season, which begins today.
The feature “Cookie’s Crumby Pictures” will parody famous movies (all starring Cookie Monster, of course) and help the blue cookie aficionado teach children about self-regulation.

Cookie Monster will be visiting the Los Angeles Times to talk about “Cookie’s Crumby Pictures” and answer reader questions at 11 a.m. PDT today. So if there’s something you’ve always wanted to ask him, leave a question in the comments or tweet them to @patrickkevinday.
