Golden Globes 2014: Best-dressed bumps?

Getting dressed when you’re pregnant is hard enough, but getting dressed for the Golden Globes red carpet? No thank you.

Kerry Washington, who is expecting her first child later this year with Nnamdi Asomugha, enlisted Balenciaga designer Alexander Wang for the task. And he created a bonded silk crepe gown in pale green with a flattering petal effect across the front.

Meanwhile, Olivia Wilde, who is expecting with fiancé Jason Sudeikis, went to Gucci for her slinky, emerald-green silk georgette long-sleeve gown, which is embroidered all over with green metallic sequins and crystals creating a serpentine effect. (She also wears Gucci in her role in “Rush,” which is nominated for best picture, drama.

And Drew Barrymore, who is pregnant with her second child, is wearing a version of a spring 2014 Monique Lhuillier runway look — a short-sleeve dress with a high-low hem and all-over organza floral embroidery.

All the dresses are terrific, but somehow the sweet subtlety of Washington’s is winning me over. What do you say?
