Paris Haute Couture: Kim Kardashian at Stephane Rolland show
Kim Kardashian swept into Stephane Rolland’s Paris Haute Couture show Tuesday trailed by photographers. In the minutes before the show began, after all the photographers dispersed, she said she loved Rolland’s designs -- pointing out that she was wearing an ivory silk jumpsuit and matching cashmere coat the designer made for her.
Seated between actresses Gaia Weiss and Blanca Suarez, Kardashian watched the parade of Rolland’s sculptural designs. With the show’s “solar” theme, the white jumpsuits soon switched to dresses and gowns of bright yellow and orange.
Embellished with oversized ruffles and varnished leather details, the fashions remained sleek in design. And judging from Rolland’s eye-popping final number, orange may be the new white, at least where his bridal gowns are concerned.
