Monique Moure, 27, of Santa Monica says, “I don’t really have a style. I like to mix and match cool stuff and am chill, easy going.” She’s wearing a Free People necklace and American Apparel bandeau.
Mike Palmieri, a Los Angeles DJ, with his Boston Terrier Harley. “I like the rock, edgy look,” Palmieri says. “Dark and gothic. I like to get crazy sometimes with Nikes. As for Harley, everything is specially made.”
Las Vegas resident Stevie Pearrie, left, 14, says his style is, “sick wit it, fresh casual, iron man.” And 16-year-old Damon Ross of Moreno Valley says he likes to keep things, “Creative, fresh, original. I like plaid and studs on the belt.”
Adrian Galindo, 16, of Pasadena likes a “colorful, raw style; ‘80s, blazers, Forever 21 jeans and shirt.” He’s wearing his girlfriend’s Virgin Mary necklace.
Johanna Marttila, left, 23, is from Finland and now lives in downtown. Her style: “Whimsical and economic. Colorful and old with a lot of fantasy. This dress is from Rome.”
Nina Escobedo, center, 22, is from Texas and now lives in downtown L.A. “I like to dress girly, but with dark colors so it’s not as girly, but still feminine,” she says.
Gala Limon, 20, likes a “rocker style, mixing styles and fabrics.”
Jesse Fernley, 33, of downtown L.A. says his look is “a hot pink bootlegger” with a versatile style combining “art, graffiti and hip hop.” Natasha Kaminsky, 22, also a downtown resident, is less descriptive: “Crazy, eclectic -- I don’t know.”
Crispin Vara, 19, of Hollywood says he dresses “urban and nonconforming. Mix of alternative and classics.” He’s wearing $6 D&G shoes from a store in Phoenix.
Rebekah Lichter, 20, of Marina del Rey shows off her newly purchased rabbit, Phoenix. “My style is my own,” she says. “A little bit of Brooklyn and a little bit of beach”
According to Rebekah, Phoenix says: “I’m a baby and we look great together.”
