David Beckham, in China as an ambassador for the sport of soccer, visited Peking University on Sunday and did something considerably less stuffy than one would associate with the word “ambassador.” He hiked the tail of his white button-down shirt out of his pants and showed off the hanzi (Chinese character) tattoo adorning his side. Meanwhile his wife, fashion designer Victoria Beckham, introduced a redesigned website Tuesday, for the first time allowing consumers to buy directly from the site. The site offers pieces from her Victoria, Victoria Beckham label and accessories, and it offers same day delivery to customers in NYC and London. [NYT]
Gwyneth Paltrow reportedly is partnering with hairstylist David Babaii and trainer Tracy Anderson to launch the David Babaii Blow Dry Bar in Anderson’s new Brentwood, Calif. studio. [People]
Diane von Furstenberg gives out her own awards each year at the end of the annual Women in the World Summit at the United Nations. On Monday she announced that this year’s lifetime achievement award will go to Robin Roberts of ABC’s “Good Morning America.” [The Cut]
Khroma Beauty by Kourtney, Kim and Khloe, the makeup line fronted by the Kardashians via licensee Boldface Licensing + Branding, was on the losing end of a court case in a trademark dispute between Khroma and another makeup brand with the all-too-similar name Kroma Makeup. Earlier this month, a U.S. judge issued a preliminary injunction blocking the manufacture, sale and marketing of the Kardashians’ Khroma Beauty. But Boldface has filed an appeal, so the cosmetics are still available. [WWD]
