Diane von Furstenberg spring collection for Gap Kids and Baby Gap
Diane von Furstenberg is bringing her signature prints and vibrant colors to Gap Kids and Baby Gap. The designer collaborated with the children’s clothing line on a spring collection inspired by an African safari. The collection hits Gap Kids and Baby Gap stores April 25 and is Von Furstenberg’s second collaboration with the brand.
“This time it is all about adventure, with the same attention to color and print,” Von Furstenberg said in a release. “I think the result is playful and perfect for the little explorers of the world.”
The collection includes skinny jeans with bright prints, printed shirts, shirt dresses and paper bag shorts. And what would a DVF collection be without a brightly colored wrap-dress? For the toddlers, Von Furstenberg has reworked her classic silhouette and added shorts.
For the baby girls there are playful rompers and there are also swimwear pieces and an entire collection of accessories, including sun hats and espadrilles.
Illustrations of tigers and zebras, fauna, flora and exotic butterflies appear on some of the pieces. The prints include hibiscus buds, the signature DVF heart and Gap/DVF graffiti.
