Lady Gaga has famously worn outfits made of meat, so it’s no surprise that she came out swinging after People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals criticized her for appearing in fur. She wouldn’t say whether the fur was faux or real, but she acknowledged a difference of opinion, saying in a statement to fans that she respects the views of animal rights supporters, but “I do not however support violent abusive and childish campaigns for ANY CAUSE.” The somewhat disjointed statement -- “You see a carcass; I see a museum piece de resistance” -- ended on a note of support for another PETA target: “And Kim Kardashian is fabulous.” [ONTD]

Words like “rumpled,” “dad pants,” “oversized” are popping up. And from WWD: “Believe it or not, he’s wearing square-toe dress shoes, one of the most grievous mistakes a man can make.” But there’s a good motivation behind it all. Most think he is a good-looking man who should show off his assets in better style. [The Cut]
