Attend a chocolate festival, an Italian festival and a beer festival in one week

There's a chocolate festival happening at Union Station on Oct. 15.

The following are three culinary events worth a spot on your calendar.

Latino Heritage L.A. is celebrating the final day of Hispanic Heritage Month with a chocolate festival. On Oct. 15, Union Station will be full of local confectioneries and chocolatiers, showcasing their products. There will be a free chocolate tasting, live music and activities for the family. The Italian American Museum of Los Angeles is hosting its seventh annual, Taste of Italy on Saturday in downtown L.A. The food and wine event will feature tastes from more than 40 L.A. Italian restaurants and wine from more than 100 producers. There also will be chef demonstrations and live entertainment. General admission tickets are $55 and include six food tickets and six beverage tickets. Premiere admission is $125 and includes a special entrance, eight food tickets, eight beverage tickets, a gift bag and exclusive discounts at an on-site marketplace. Or you can buy a VIP package, which includes seats for 10, two bottles of wine and a bottle of Prosecco, a special entrance, 10 food tickets, 10 beverage tickets, a VIP gift bag, premiere stage-side seating, a souvenir wine glass and discounts at the onsite market place for $5,000. 424 N. The Burbank Beer Festival will take place Oct. 17 in downtown Burbank. There will be tastings of more than 85 craft beers on tap from breweries such as Absolution Brewing Co., Angel City Brewery, Eagle Rock Brewery, The Bloody Cure and Firestone Walker Brewing. The festival will feature two sessions of craft beer sampling, including one from noon to 3 p.m., and another from 4 to 7 p.m. There also will be a street fair with live musical performances and food from more than 100 restaurants for purchase.
