You work hard, so the next time you feel like cutting out to make happy hour, maybe go for it.

Get friendly with some co-workers over a round of $5 drinks and a basket of wings. Here are three new happy hours to get you started. And wherever you go, get home safely.

E.P. & L.P. has introduced a “We Love Melrose” happy hour, Monday to Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. The name isn’t confusing when you realize the restaurant is located at the corner of Melrose Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard.

Head up to the L.P. rooftop and sip a $5 cocktail of the day, a specialty Asian beer, or wine with a view of the sunset. Happy hour guests receive complimentary cassava chips, and you can also order one of chef Louis Tikaram’s $10 street food snacks, including Lou’s Dogg (shown above), and sweet and sour “wingdings.” 603 N. La Cienega Blvd., West Hollywood, (310) 855-9955, www.eplosangeles.com.

Ashland Hill in Santa Monica has a new flights-and-fries happy hour, from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday. And it’s exactly what it sounds like. If you’re a beer drinker who likes fries, $12 will get you four 5-ounce samples of any draft beer and an order of fries. And because this is Santa Monica, it’s all served on a wooden paddle.

Beer selections included Smog City Hoptonic IPA and Monkfish; Feminist Belgian Triple; and other local drafts. 2807 Main St., Santa Monica, (310) 392-3300, www.ashlandhill.com.

The Bellwether in Studio City has a new weekday. If you stop in Monday, happy hour lasts all night. Tuesday to Friday, it’s 5 to 7 p.m. During happy hour, select draft beers are $5, you can get a $9 glass of on-tap wine or a $9 signature cocktail such as the Bellwether Manhattan, made with Bulleit rye, Carpano Antica and bitters.

If you’re going to be drinking a Manhattan, there should be snacks. Happy hour bar bites include $5 house-marinated olives or crunchy spicy chickpeas. 13251 Ventura Blvd., Studio City, (818) 285-8184, www.thebellwetherla.com.
