The Belvedere at the Peninsula Beverly Hills is closing for a complete remodel

The Belvedere, the fine-dining restaurant at the Peninsula Beverly Hills Hotel known for its white table cloths and champagne Sunday brunches, is closing for a complete remodel.

The restaurant has been open for the last 21 years. Its final night of service will be Tuesday, and the new Belvedere plans to open in December.

Included in the plans for the new facility are a complete makeover of the restaurant’s interior, an expanded outdoor terrace that will include half of the restaurant’s dining area, and a full overhaul of the menu.

Executive chef David Codney plans to focus on more Mediterranean-inspired dishes with an emphasis on seafood.

If you’re a hotel guest, or need a bite to eat, the property’s other restaurants, including the Roof Garden, Living Room and Club Bar, will all remain open.
