Sean Spicer resigns as press secretary
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has resigned over the hiring of a new communications aide, sources told the Associated Press on Friday.
The sources said the move came in a disagreement with President Trump over the appointment of the New York financier Anthony Scaramucci as White House communications director.
