Natasha Bedingfield buys Los Feliz home for $2.3 million
British pop singer-songwriter Natasha Bedingfield has purchased a home in the Los Feliz area for $2.3 million.
The 4,792-square-foot contemporary has four bedrooms, 5 1/2 bathrooms, a media room, gym and office in three stories with city light and mountain views. There are two fireplaces, limestone and walnut flooring, a detached guesthouse above the three-car garage and a swimming pool. The recently redone house was built in 1953.
The husky-voiced singer, active on the Christian-pop circuit as a teen, released her solo debut album, “Unwritten,” in 2004. It had several hit songs and earned her a Grammy nomination for female pop vocal performance in 2006. She released “Pocketful of Sunshine” in 2008 and is working on her third album.
Bedingfield, 27, performed this year on ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2009” and “Dancing With the Stars,” among other shows, and is appearing this month at a music festival in Bermuda.
Her new home had been listed in January 2008 at $4,495,000 and had been most recently priced at $2,495,000.
The listing agent was Richard Stanley of Coldwell Banker, Los Feliz. Bedingfield was represented by Aaron Montelongo of Sotheby’s International Realty’s Sunset office.
