Pedro Gonzalez scored his second goal of the game on a penalty shot at the 77-minute mark to give host Thousand Oaks (18-3-2, 6-1-2) the tie.
Calabasas (13-3-4, 6-1-2), which defeated Thousand Oaks, 2-1, in the first round of league play, scored all three of its goals off set pieces. The third goal came three minutes into the second half when Ben Van Der Fluit headed in a free kick that Warren Doyle launched from just inside the midfield line.
Jason Leopoldo of Thousand Oaks appeared to tie the score with a goal with about 10 minutes to play, but the linesman ruled that the ball never crossed the goal line.
Calabasas took a 1-0 lead four minutes into the game when Doyle scored on a indirect free kick from 25 yards out. But Thousand Oaks tied the score on a goal by Leopoldo at the eight-minute mark and took a 2-1 lead 14 minutes later when Leopoldo fed Gonzalez with a centering pass that he blasted past Calabasas goalkeeper Aaron Gordon.
The Coyotes tied the score three minutes later, however, when Jason Kletzky’s throw-in was flicked into the net by Stephen Udoff.

Brothers Patrick and Matt Smith each scored a goal for visiting Royal (17-1-3, 7-0-2). Patrick Smith, a senior, scored his 26th goal of the season midway through the second half to give Royal a 1-0 lead. Royal, the top-ranked team in the Southland by The Times, took a 2-0 lead five minutes later when junior Matt Smith scored his second goal of the season. Moorpark (6-8-1, 3-6) scored with eight minutes left in the game.

Adam Markowitz had a goal and an assist for visiting Westlake (11-7-1, 6-3). Omar Sanchez, Israel Higuera and Alex Olszewski also scored for Westlake.

Host Millikan, which is fighting to extend its streak of 21 consecutive appearances in the Southern Section playoffs, handed Cabrillo its second loss in four games. Millikan is 15-5-4 and 3-3-2 in league. Cabrillo (19-3-1, 7-2), the No. 8-ranked team in the Southland by The Times, has a two-point lead over second place Long Beach Poly and Long Beach Wilson in the league standings with three games left.

Kevin Gerard of host Fountain Valley scored off a rebound of a shot by sweeper David Sias with three minutes left in the second of two 10-minute overtime periods. Sias got past the Huntington Beach goalkeeper, but his shot bounced off the crossbar before Gerard headed it into the net for his sixth goal of the season. Fountain Valley, the No. 5-ranked team in the Southland by The Times, is 15-3-2, 4-2-1.

Rangel scored his third and fourth goals of the season on assists from Daniel Torres in the first half. Chambers scored his 16th goal of the season on a penalty kick early in the second half and later tallied his 17th on a right-footed blast from 22 yards away. The shutout was the 12th of the season for Santa Barbara, the top-ranked team in Division II. Ventura is 1-15, 0-6.

Erin Luxmen scored the first goal of the game for Agoura.

Jason Leopoldo and Dylan Riley each had a goal and keeper Kenny Negron had five saves and recorded his fifth shutout of season to lead visiting Thousands Oaks (18-3-1, 6-1-1) past Westlake (10-7-1, 5-3). Dylan Riley has five goals and two assists in the past three games.

Matt Murphy scored on a free kick with three minutes left to give visiting and defending league champion Mater Dei a tie with Anaheim Servite.
Mater Dei (11-2-4, 1-1-3), the No. 10-ranked team in the Southland by The Times, led, 2-1, at halftime. But No. 9 Servite (16-7-2, 3-1-1) tied the score, 2-2, on a goal by Curtis Cummins at the 51-minute mark. The Friars took a 3-2 lead when Martin Quiroz scored nine minutes later.
Chris Pontius gave Servite a 1-0 lead with a goal at the eight-minute mark, but Mater Dei tied the score, 1-1, on a goal by Scott Corbin at the 13-minute mark and took a 2-1 lead on a goal by Richie Self at the 30-minute mark.
Servite had to forfeit last Thursday’s tie against Torrance Bishop Montgomery on Monday because a Friar player who had been issued a red card in the previous game against Bellflower St. John Bosco had been in the stands during the first half, a violation of CIF rules.
The Friars picked up a forfeit victory over Santa Margarita on Wednesday, however, because a Santa Margarita player who had been issued a red card in a game against Irvine on Jan. 7 attended the team’s following game in which it tied Servite, 0-0.
