Christina McEwen and Krista Carlson each scored three goals to lead Sunny Hills. Gloria Doran made 10 saves for Mater Dei.

Michelle Ferrentti scored three to lead Marina. Danielle Ganzel scored two goals for Mater Dei (5-8).
Long Beach Poly 11, San Marino 3
NONLEAGUE
Foothill 4, Santa Barbara 3
Jillian Kraus scored three goals as Foothill won a nonleague matchup of the defending Southern Section Division I champion Knights and defending Division IV champion Santa Barbara at Capistrano Valley High.
Foothill led, 4-2, going into the fourth quarter after Kraus scored the first three goals for the Knights (3-0) and freshman Noel Umphrey converted what turned out to be the game-winning goal in the third period.
Kami Craig scored the last goal for Santa Barbara to pull the Dons (3-1) within the final margin with less than three minutes left. Brittany Bahre and Miranda Nichols had the Dons’ other goals.
Nichols’ goal was her fourth goal in two games. She also got three in Santa Barbara’s 6-1 victory over Corona del Mar on Friday.
Santa Barbara goalie Brittany May, a junior, made eight saves against Foothill, although she injured the little finger on her left hand on Kraus’ second goal.
Under intense defensive pressure from the Knights, Santa Barbara converted goals in just one of five man-up situations.
Foothill goalie Katy Krumpholz had eight saves in the game, which the Knights led, 3-1, at halftime.

Beverly Sanchez and Sharayah Hernandez each had three goals and Miriam Quintanilla made 12 saves to lead El Rancho (2-0). Courtney Mathewson and Lindsey Rodgers had three goals apiece for Canyon (0-2).
Foothill 10, Long Beach Wilson 8
Grace Reynolds and Jillian Kraus scored four goals apiece to lead defending Division I champion Foothill (2-0) at Belmont Plaza. Wilson (5-1) held a 2-1 lead going into the second quarter, but Kraus and Roxanne Rovenger each scored twice during the period and the Knights took a 5-4 lead into the half. Allie Lamb and Megan Nesland had two goals apiece for Wilson, which trailed 8-6 going into the fourth quarter.

Jennifer Laumea and Dannielle Dunlap scored four goals each for visiting Norco (3-1).

Daisy Fish and Kat Plummer both scored four goals and Stevie Blanchard added three goals to lead Thousand Oaks (7-0). Whitney Enston also scored two goals and had six steals for Thousand Oaks.
