CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION
Carson 1, Sylmar 0
Danira Iolamo (16-6) allowed only one hit and struck out 12 for Carson (28-8), which advances to the title game for the sixth consecutive year after giving Sylmar (20-1) its first loss.
Carson won it in the bottom of the seventh inning at South Gate Park against losing pitcher Stephanie Boshae (18-1), who allowed seven hits but had no strikeouts. Veronica Ramos singled to open the seventh, and was replaced by pinch-runner Andrea Honrada. Lolita Valdez slapped an infield single to short, and both runners were safe, then advanced to second and third on a bunt by freshman pinch-hitter Paulina Nihipali.
Carson scored after Priscilla Perez, failing to get down a bunt on the first pitch, delivered a line drive single on the second for the only run of the game.

San Pedro 1, El Camino Real 0 (10 innings)
Jackie Conlin singled in Stephanie Tam for the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning for host San Pedro (28-3), ranked No. 11 by the Times. Ashley Esparza (19-1) pitched a one-hitter and struck out eight for the Pirates. El Camino Real finishes at 25-7.

Granada Hills Kennedy 7, Taft 2
Christina Garcia went three for three with one RBI and Kris Torres went one for two with two RBIs to lead host Granada Hills Kennedy (14-11).

CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION
Carson 6, Westchester 0
Danira Iolamo (15-6) threw a one-hitter and struck out 16 and Liz Vasquez went two for three, including a three-run triple, to lead host Carson (27-8) over Westchester (20-8). The No. 19-ranked, No. 2-seeded Colts will play Sylmar Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at South Gate Park.
El Camino Real 1, Birmingham 0
Junior Kelly Oswald drove in sophomore catcher Francesca Enea in the second inning for host El Camino Real (25-6) in a game that lasted just 55 minutes. El Camino Real will play Thursday the winner of the San Pedro/Granada Hills game. Birmingham finishes 24-9.
San Pedro 2, Granada Hills 1
Ashley Esparza (18-1) pitched a two-hitter, giving up one unearned run, with four strikeouts and one walk, and had one hit and scored the winning run on Nicole Serrato’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the third inning to lead host No. 11-ranked, No. 1-seeded San Pedro (27-3). Kat Walsh threw a four-hitter with five strikeouts, four walks and two hit batters for eighth-seeded Granada Hills (25-9). The Pirates will face El Camino Real on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at South Gate Park.
Sylmar 3, WIlmington Banning 1
INVITATIONAL DIVISION
Bravo 6, Sun Valley Poly 4
Rose Vargas had three hits, including a bases-loaded triple in the second inning, and scored once for Bravo (15-4).
Granada Hills Kennedy 4, Garfield 0
Kaleigh Sanchez (9-6) threw a three-hitter with five strikeouts and one walk for Kennedy (13-11). Marissa Trujillo had two hits, including a two-run triple in the fourth inning, and Amanda Gutierrez had two hits and scored twice.
L.A. Marshall 2, Narbonne 1
Sophomore Valerie Gochez went two for three and had two stolen bases and junior Christina Salazar pitched a one-hitter for visiting L.A. Marshall (17-9). Narbonne finishes 15-9.
