For the record - Feb. 10, 2015
“The Walking Dead”: An article in the Feb. 7 Calendar section about “The Walking Dead” gave executive producer Scott Gimple’s middle initial as A. His middle initial is M.
Jerome and Evelyn Ackerman: In the Feb. 7 Saturday section, an article about Midcentury artists and designers Jerome and Evelyn Ackerman said that they began introducing wares into the market in the 1940s. Their designs entered the market in 1953.
Lizabeth Scott: In the Feb. 8 California section, the obituary of actress Lizabeth Scott included a portion of a quote from another article that was inserted during final production. The correct quote, from a 1996 interview of Scott about her work in film noir, should have read: “It was a new realm, and it was very exciting, because suddenly you were coming closer and closer to reality.”
Parks: A Feb. 8 Op-Ed about gangs and parks stated that Smith Park is in Alhambra. It is in San Gabriel.
