The Eagles: In the Dec. 5 Calendar section, an article about the Kennedy Center Honors quoted Irving Azoff, manager of the band the Eagles, as saying, “For our fans, 2016 didn’t have a harder beginning or a more appropriate ending.” The quote should have read: “For our Eagles family, 2016 couldn’t have had a harder beginning or a more appropriate ending.” Also, Azoff made the comment at a related event Saturday, not before the ceremony Sunday.

Dakota Access pipeline: In the Dec. 6 Section A, an article about the potential future of the Dakota Access pipeline misspelled the last name of attorney Chris Reagen as Reagan.
