DWP nonprofits: In the Nov. 8 LATExtra section, an article about an audit of nonprofits associated with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power said that Eric Garcetti became mayor last May. Although he won election in May, he did not become mayor until July 1.
Hollywood Park: An article in the Nov. 7 Sports section about the racetrack’s final meet said that Landaluce was a son of Seattle Slew. Landaluce was a daughter of Seattle Slew.
Westlake football: In the Nov. 8 Sports section, a column about Westlake High defensive lineman Hunter Mattox misspelled his last name as Maddox.
