Earthquake: 3.2 quake strikes near Lake Isabella in Kern County
A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Saturday evening eight miles from Bodfish, Calif., near Lake Isabella in Kern County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 10:12 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 0 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 22 miles from Tehachapi and 262 miles from Carson City, Nev.
In the past 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
