At least two armed suspects were at large near the state park with SWAT teams en route from Sonoma County and possible FBI assistance, according to a source inside Sonoma County law enforcement, the paper said.

The suspects may be wanted for kidnapping out of Oregon. The Ukiah Daily Journal reported on its Facebook page that Sheriff Tom Allman confirmed a deputy was shot.

Residents in the Cleone area, north of Fort Bragg, reported receiving reverse 911 calls urging them to stay away from the area around noon, the Press Democrat said.
