Westbound 210 Freeway in Pasadena closed this weekend for repairs
Motorists driving through Pasadena this weekend are reminded that all lanes of the westbound 210 Freeway are closed for repairs.
A two-mile stretch of the westbound freeway, from Lake to Mountain avenues, was closed at 10 p.m. Friday and will remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday, Caltrans officials said.
In addition, the eastbound 134 Freeway connector to the westbound 210 is closed; and the westbound 210 Freeway off-ramps at Marengo Avenue and Mountain Street are also shut down.
Motorists can expect delays and are advised to plan ahead, use alternate routes or ride public transit, officials said.
The freeway closure is part of a $148.5-million pavement repair project in both directions of the 210 Freeway, including in the cities of Glendale, La Canada Flintridge and Pasadena. The project is expected to be completed in 2018.
