Man standing at Norwalk bus stop is shot dead
A man who was standing at a bus stop in Norwalk was shot and killed early Sunday evening, authorities said.
The 41-year-old man was standing at the stop in the 13200 block of Rosecrans Avenue near the border with Santa Fe Springs when a white van pulled up just past him and parked about 6:18 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A man then got out of the van, walked up to the victim and shot him multiple times, authorities said.

The assailant then got back in the van and left.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. There was also no immediate information on who might be suspected in the crime.
