There were three winning tickets for the $564-million Powerball jackpot purchased in North Carolina, Texas and Puerto Rico, lottery officials announced late Wednesday.

Ticket sales had pushed the jackpot to $564 million just before the winning numbers were drawn, officials said.

The winning numbers were 25, 11, 54, 13, 39 and the Powerball was 19.

Three tickets purchased in California had five winning numbers but not the Powerball, and each of those ticket holders will be eligible for an estimated $1.4-million prize, state lottery spokesman Alex Traverso said.

The three tickets were sold at a 7-Eleven in Cypress in Orange County, a market in San Leandro in Alameda County and at the Mono Market in Lee Vining, just northeast of Yosemite National Park.

Store owners where the winning tickets were purchased will receive an estimated $7,000 payout, Traverso said.

Additional “Match 5” winners were announced in 16 other states.

Nearly $380 million in ticket sales pushed the jackpot up to $564 million in the moments before Wednesday night’s drawing. If no ticket won, Saturday’s jackpot probably would have exceeded the $656-million jackpot in a 2012 Mega Millions lottery, Traverso said.
