Pedestrian killed by Metrolink train in North Hollywood
A pedestrian was killed in North Hollywood early Friday after being struck a Metrolink train traveling on the Ventura line, authorities said.
The pedestrian was hit in the 7200 block of Lankershim Boulevard at 7:46 a.m., said Lt. Mike Mendoza.
There were no injuries aboard the train, and authorities were continuing to investigate the incident.
On Sept. 5, a vehicle was struck by a Metro Expo Line train and on Monday, a Blue Line train downtown hit a vehicle.
There were no fatalities in either incident, Los Angeles fire officials said.
