Probe into toddler’s death continues in Pomona
Investigators Monday night were trying to determine how a 1-year-old girl died in Pomona.
At 8:59 a.m. Monday, “we had a report of a female, 1, that was not breathing,” said Robert Diaz of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Paramedics and other personnel arrived at a home in the 1200 block of West 8th Street about five minutes later.
An official with the Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified the girl as Unisi Vave, but they had no additional information.
