Suspicious package triggers temporary evacuation of passengers at LAX
A suspicious package found at Los Angeles International Airport triggered the temporary evacuation of arriving passengers at the Tom Bradley International Terminal on Tuesday.
The package was discovered at 11:48 a.m. in the international terminal, airport spokeswoman Katherine Alvarado said.
A bomb squad investigated the package and determined that there was no threat. Passengers were allowed to return to the terminal around 12:30 p.m., according to the LAX Police Department.
