Transient in Selena Gomez’s guest house charged with trespassing
A homeless man found in the bathroom of performer Selena Gomez’s Calabasas guest house was charged Wednesday with trespassing.
Che Cruz is charged with misdemeanor unauthorized entry of a dwelling house, said Deputy Dist. Atty. Eduards Abele.
Cruz, 20, was arrested March 30 inside a bathroom of a guest house on the property being purchased by the 21-year-old former Disney star.
The man had initially tried to enter the main house before he managed to get to the back of the property and gain access to the guest house.
A security company was alerted, and Cruz was found in the guest house. He was taken into custody by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies.
Cruz is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday afternoon at Van Nuys courthouse. Prosecutors are requesting he be held on $2,500 bail.
Cruz could face up to six months in jail if convicted.
