‘Live your life’
Photographer Chris Alo usually shoots in downtown L.A., but last week, he decided to deviate and shoot in Hollywood. At the metro stop at Hollywood and Highland, he snapped this image.
What struck Alo most about the image, he says, was how telling it was of current times.
“We are constantly looking at our screens, shielding ourselves from experiencing the now,” he said. “It’s as if that signage was made just for this era. ‘Live Your Life.’”
Alo made the image using a Fujifilm X100 camera with a 23mm f/2 lens on Feb. 5.
